Everyone deserves a little treat every now and then. Spoiling your furry friend silly is one of the pleasures in life, especially when you can do it in a healthy way.
With this recipe you will be able to prepare delicious treats your dog will love, and you will know for sure what is inside. And the best thing is… it’s only 2 ingredients!
Recipe for simple 2 ingredients dog cookies
In this recipe for dog cookies (also suitable for cats), we have used only two ingredients:
113gr of baby food, meat or vegetable (remember to check for ingredients your dog cannot or shouldn’t eat!)
130gr of wholemeal flour (or another flour such as rice or oat)
How to make Simple Dog Cookies:
- When you choose baby food to use with this recipe you have to pay extra attention to the list of ingredients. Avoid homogenized products containing sweeteners, xylitol, garlic, onion, leek, chives, mushrooms, grapes, nuts, various spices, and leavening agents, to make the treats the best and most healthy for your puppy.
-
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
-
Mix both ingredients in a large bowl, untill well combined.
-
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough until it is 5mm / 6mm thick, and use our molds to cut the biscuit.
- Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
-
Turn off the oven and let the biscuits cool down on the baking tray until the oven is completely cold (this way you will get rid of all the moisture from the cookies).
With this recipe you will get about 15 biscuits with a 7.5cm cookie cutter.
